How it works:

It introduces an artificial but breathable "smoke" into the protected premises at the beginning of a break-in to prevent the would be villains from seeing the merchandise and therefore prevents them from stealing it. The smoke is kept at a prescribed density until the alarm is reset when it clears with normal ventilation without leaving any residue on the goods.
